Listen Up:

We are words and words matter; whether or not you listen to them is a choice of action.

You can say and dream of acting but if you don’t that is on you, no one else is to blame for that issue.

What works for me is music: my tunes provide me the SUBSTANCE (2024) I need and a drive to create.

Get out of your head a little and listen like the little people in Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift (1726), you might learn something:

I found this photo on pinterest which illustrates my thought process here. Note here: keep in mind that I am trying to link my resources and cite properly but I may fumble a little bit from time to time. Click on the photos to start your journey:

“Are you listening yet?” - says the little man your ear (Gulliver’s Travel’s [1726] or Harry Styles).

MORE COMING SOON???

PREFACE: I would like to emphasize that this is basically me building a Myspace page because I missed out on that era and humbly regret it.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS AN AI PHOTO SO I DON’T KNOW WHO TO CREDIT

Why the heck am I fighting dragons?

Lowkey (highkey let’s be honest here), Skyrim was a inspiration I stole from a giant growing up. I didn’t realize it when I was younger but the Elder Scrolls had most of it right.

I was on my way to Hammerfell when I got caught by a group of bandits, that’s when a Great Sword slashed my knee and I had to get aid from some healers at the Temple of Kynareth.

If it was not made clear already, I seek to heal the wounds of the internet (sadly media literacy is disappearing, so… sigh… I have to make this journey on my own).

If you’ve made it this far as a traveller, I thank you graciously.

Watch or don’t, I’ll never know.

AI AND CONTENT DISCLAIMER:

Throughout this ‘blog’ - or whatever you want to call it - I do not plan on using any AI to write things; I would like to use this SAFE SPACE to explore knowledge and information in a fun and creative way. Call me your online librarian or a pest (Plato, 380 BCE), but I would like to reclaim these online spaces for our own good (while also trying to touch grass and enjoy what the world has to offer).

I would also like to state that all opinions are mine and mine alone; whether or not you choose to let them press on you is completely your decision. All the photos and content I use will have the links provided for and if they don’t please feel free to message me on my other platforms. Let’s try to mediate our issues before we jump to judging each other.

For more: read a quick debrief from David Graeber.

I think that this article highlights the point I am trying to get across on a more personal level. Face this Brave New World (Aldous Huxley, 1931) and read - if you don’t mind me asking.
